Eric J. Riso is a founding member of the firm and a partner. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Riso concentrates his practice in all aspects of municipal/local government representation, employment and labor law, constitutional law, land use (planning and zoning), fire district law and general litigation.
He presently serves as Solicitor for the Harrison Township Fire District, serves as special labor counsel for various municipalities in southern New Jersey and sits as solicitor for various municipalities and land use boards in Camden, Gloucester and Burlington Counties. He has over 20 years of civil litigation experience in all divisions of the Superior Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and various administrative agencies, including the Civil Service Commission, Public Employment Relations Commission, Division on Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He has tried numerous cases and has argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division, New Jersey Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Riso graduated from Dickinson College in 1989 with Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey in 1992. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. He has been recognized in South Jersey Magazine as a Top Attorney in Labor and Employment Law.
